Definitely breaking down some barriers and encouraging access. I’m waiting to see who else jumps on board with this and further discussion of the ‘quality’ of the material taught.

I agree with gregl that monitoring quality is important, and the profit motive can help with this, but it can also hinder it. Maybe colleges can find similar ways to accelerate and make affordable college entry… (what about better facilitation of CLEP and prior/experiential learning credits?). Maybe this will motivate colleges to look at adopting such innovations themselves.
